Overview

Staff in the Bylaw Department have updated the rules surrounding signs in Wasaga Beach.

Municipal Sign By-laws regulate everything from the types of signs that are allowed, the duration of which they are allowed, maximum sizes, permit requirements/fees and more. Staff are hoping to gather feedback from all members of the community prior to proposing a by-law.

UPDATE 1 - At the June 17, 2021 Committee of the Whole meeting the first draft of the bylaw was reviewed and referred back to staff.

UPDATE 2 - At the July 15, 2021 Coordinated Committee meeting the second draft of the bylaw was presented and approved. It will go to council for ratification on July 27.
